What do folk think of this budget Instrument set from Car Builder Solutions ?

http://www.carbuildersolutions.com/uk/w ... rument-set

Very low price point at £238.80.

I could live with the Rev counter being 10mm bigger than the Speedo & the Speedo having a slightly different besel.

Just wouldn't like to shell that amount if they are going to be poor quality or unreliable.

Pehaps someone has bought a set & could give a honest review.

Don't really want to spend £800  on a set of smiths gauges if there is a lower cost option. :)

An instrument set is probably the most expensive item I need to complete my build.

I'm still undecided on analogue or digital, if I were to go analogue they would definitely be on the list of options.

I do like the look - although, after seeing some replica Ford GT40s at Stoneleigh I am still trying to think of a way that I can include the rev counter over to the left, but angled so that it points at the drivers line of sight - I think it looks immense! (and from a quick Google they seemed to keep that look in the modern Ford GT as well)...

Bruce, They are very tempting to have a punt at that price ;)

Dave, being a former Triumph Vitesse fanatic, I had decided from the outset it was the look for me :) :)

jps, I do like the look of the dash you have pictured 8-) 8-)

The Roadster scuttle has plenty of depth behind it.
Not beyond the realms of possibility to make a grp dash panel to display the tacho at an angle.

A dash lay out like that would help disguise the slightly larger Tacho too ;)

This was the kinda look I was going to go for.
