I've downloaded the Vauxhall Technical Information System (TIS). Unfortunately its interactive so you hover over the parts and its show you whats what as opposed to having a key. Bear with me Bob and I'l work something out with it. but these are the diagrams so far.

I was looking at how thin all the wires were Bruce , I wondered if they dont operate through latching and normal relays. My nippers just about to junk his corsa so I might pull the loom out of that if its the same and see if any sense can be made of it.

A lot of it seems to go through the Body Control Module so that may well be needed which is handy for you if you have one around :D

I've started to look at mine, multimeter decided to pack up but here's the indicator stalk following the wiring diagram:

Pin 1 - White
Headlamp Dimmer Switch High Beam Signal

Pin 2 - Black / White
Turn Signal Flasher Signal

Pin 3 - Brown / Yellow
Signal Ground

Pin 4 - Brown / Green
Cruise Control Set/Coast/Resume/Accelerate Switch Signal
