The Equinox prices looked too good to pass up so I have ordered a full set of bodywork for my Roadster. Better get on with all the other things that need doing before I can even think about fitting it!!!

On the positive side, I also managed to get hold of some 6mm plate and some 40mm box section to fab new engine mounts so I am fairly close to having every single part that needs welding to my chassis ready to attach... Then I just need to find a free day in my brother-in-laws diary so I can get him to come and stick all the bits together for me!!!

Dave gave me a call and I chatted with him, so I will go direct to him with any queries about my order. Might well get in touch when it comes to attaching it to the chassis though Ben!!!!
Cheers
John

John, Dave says the longest body piece is 2.6m (side panel) should go in an estate car

Collected my bodywork today, Dave 'Equinox' seems like a very nice chap, the bodywork all looks good to me although at the moment its just balanced on the chassis, still wrapped in bubble wrap, so i haven't had the closest of looks at it yet! All of a sudden the whole thing looks a lot more like a car though...

Will do Ben, i'm thinking i'll attach some of the panels with rivnuts at an early stage then I can always take them off when I need to do work later on....

Here's the proof i collected it!

Pics of it all balanced on the car will follow after I get a chance to take some pics tonight!!

My nose and scuttle are bolted on with rivnuts. Nose is hinged at the front with a big stainless hinge.

The side panels are fine rivetted on. Back panel it's handy to have easily removable but not the end of the world.
