Looking good there Adrian 8-) 8-)

I remember that we started our builds about the same time

Well done, I have a bit of catching up to do by the looks of it

Were your local DVLA happy about doing your inspection prior to the IVA & will they need to inspect it again once you have passed the IVA :?:

They where happy I did the DVLA inspection first, in fact they told me that was the correct way for a complete home build as there is no chassis number supplied from a kit manufacturer!

The reason I went down this line is a fellow builder had his VIN rejected at registration, after being accepted at SVA.
It seems VOSA and DVLA are completely different organisations and do not seem to talk to each other.

I have been told I should get age related registration when complete, and if correct No I will not need another DVLA inspection, when I get the MAC it should be down to the office pay the £55 and road tax and walk out with the registration docket.

That would be a nice thought!

Adrian

That's good news Adrian 8-) 8-)

I guess at the end of the day, when the build is almost ready for IVA, the best course of action is to liase with your local DVLA & let them guide you through the whole process. :D :D

Hope my local office is as helpfull when the time comes. They have been quite good to deal with other matters in the past ;) ;)
