ok so I know it sounds early to be discussing next summers hols but here we go hotels n bnbs are starting to get booked up and there are a few of us already booked
basically we are doin glencoe, skye, durness, Orkney , killin starting on 28 may onwards. Here is a link to what is organised so far

if anyone fancies a touring holiday in the west and north of Scotland or wants more info give me a shout or feel free to join us, but places are getting booked up so get a wiggle on .have a read through the link and see what you think

ps cant guarantee good weather but can guarantee great scenary and great craic oh and it will be a touring holiday not a series of track days around Scotland
so far 3 couples and a single with some 1 or 2 day locals joining in

28/29 may 2017 Glencoe
30/31 may 2017 Skye
1/2 June 2017 Durness
3/4 June 2017 Orkney
5/6/7 June 207 Killin

Leave the wife
Get a decent workshop
Get roadster on the road as demo car
Join in the trip

But since none of them will happen before may have a great tour

You could always get shays one back from France and rewire over the winter :)

Just trying to work out how i would get it back i could borrow a trailer and go get it i guess but there must be a better and cheaper way

Voucht on the Haynes forum has offered to help if he can , it might be possible to arrange something with him to assist in collecting and meeting up.
Not great on geography so don't know how long to Dover etc but might be worth investigating
Just out of curiosity it's about 2 hours to Rheims from Calais, good luck

Hmmm if i can get the money together and be allowed to spend it this could work out its about 550miles each way although will have to do some work on the daily driver to take it that far if i did it over 3 days drop the wife off at the inlaws in kent over and back same day now to get the right price and convince swmbo
