Gateros Plating - DIY Electroplating Supplies ... ksid=p3686

Blurb from the website:
Here at Gateros Plating we have been doing our own plating on motorcycle restoration projects for more than ten years. We were so successful at doing our own plating that we decided to produce home plating kits for other restorers and enthusiasts to use.

Our philosophy is to produce high quality products at a very reasonable price, making our kits affordable for even the smallest of projects.

All our kits are based on the same systems that commercial electroplaters use so we are confident that the results from our kits are always of a high standard.

We supply a comprehensive, easy to understand guide with each kit. This guide covers all aspects of plating from setting up the tank and preparing the items for plating through to the finished article. As one of our customers said, “the plating kit is idiot proof even I can use it”.

The plating is the easy bit its the polishing that takes the time . You will need to get everything as smooth as possible with finer grades of paper then hit it hard with a polishing mop like this http://media.rsdelivers.cataloguesoluti ... 759-24.jpg with the various grades of soap.
