Hi.
Just a short note to say hello.
My name is Mick, and I am a ............sorry, wrong place.

My name is Mick and I am new here.
I haven't started a build yet, but I intend to, after I have lurked here for a while, asked all of those questions that all of us new people ask.
At the moment I am thinking along the lines of a Vauxhall Omega, 2l manual. But there will be plenty of time to change my mind before I actually start.
I am a little bit disabled, so I am not going to build it with a view to me actually driving the thing, it will just be something to give me a bit of an hobby.
I have built a Robin Hood 2B for my son in the past. That now runs a 2L turbo'd Fiat TC 16v. It puts out 300 rwbhp. It looks like great fun when he is on a track, but I can't help but feel it's too much for the road. But heh, when I was young I new best, too.
I have also just finished restoring a '78 mini clubman estate for my daughter, that one is pretty stock (well, almost !).
So now, it's my turn. As I say, I will probably never drive it, but I will get my son to give me a couple of laps of Castle Coombe in the passenger seat, if I ever finish it that is. We'll see. I intend to finish it, but you never know with self builds do you?
I will probably make a pest of myself asking beginner type question's, but from what I have seen there is plenty of information on this site. So I will spend my time reading that first.

Speak to you soon, no boubt. Mick. ;)
