Good Morning All,

Glad to see you are all signed on Ronnie's forum.

I had to sign on to get my morning read !!

Looks like Rob may have got the ball rolling over at Haynes one way or the other !!

Cheers

Nigel

I spoke to Bob at lunchtime, he'd called three times, left messages with the secretary and the guy's voice mail, no one had got back to him at that point, this site was already down by then.

It's not looking good then, at the end of the day we've always got Ronnie's generosity to keep us going.

Cheers Ronnie

Nathan left me a haynes contact name(steve rendall) who is supposed to be the man that can, three calls later with messages left with contact details produced nothing . The odd thing is that mr rendall didnt even know why I was phoning and for all he knew it could have related to some serious buisiness. Lets see what today brings.

Bob

Steve is the man in charge of new publications, the man behind the single seater project, but yes certainly you would think he could of returned your call. I wouldn't know who else to call but the longer they take, if at all, the more we shall fall in love with good old Ronnie's nice forum. My only concern would be for new builders getting introduced to the forum, i'm sure Google Bots would soon pick up on the Haynes, Roadster and Forum parts of the site and start listing them in search engines.

Well Done Ronnie..........Andy

Not sure how useful this is but when you try to go to the old page you get the option to contact them,

"The http://www.haynes.co.uk forum technical staff have been notified of the error, though you may contact them if the problem persists"

When you click on the contact the name that comes up is DHermelin@haynes.co.uk

Could well be out of date but perhaps worth trying, also Bob it could be worth going through to main reception and asking who's responsible for the furum, I'm busy this morning but could try myself later on.

My Parsing progress is 15 hrs in and only just under half way :(

I think Junior is planning to register this site with Google this evening, that should help with creating a bit of web presence.

The bulk of the sitework will probably happen over the weekend.

Tis far from perfect at the moment but none too shabby for a site being created on the fly.

At least we can all stay in touch.

Was exactly the same when the Haynes forum went down last time, members kept in the dark :(
