I have a little more info:

Tried Main Reception, she didn't have a clue what I was talking about, she didn't even know they had a forum, she put me through to customer services who didn't know much more but thought it was managed by a company called React Adapt. I contact Alexi there who only seems to manage Haynes Facebook and Twitter, he said he'd send an an email to try and find out more.

One last try, thought I'd try the website number, spoke to Tim Woodcock who was very vague and didn't really want to give out much info but when pushed a bit he did divulge that the site was hacked, I questioned him on the integrity of the database and he 'believes' its still intact. When pushed again on their intentions, again he said he 'believe's' that the software is going to be upgraded but they have limited resources so could be 2 to 3 weeks.

Many thanks for your efforts & determination to contact the right person at Haynes.

Seems like you were given a right old run around :o

I find it odd that a multinational publishing company would have limited resources available to cover the cost of a modestly priced bit of software :?
Perhaps they are limited in the HR department when it comes to IT.

Sounds like the Haynes forum is not going to be back online any time soon though. :(

I would agree with you there

It was tim via that I spoke to when the crap all kicked off

He was not much help then and kinda viewed it as a chore that was of little or no importance to anyone there

How about we spam them saying where has our forum content gone

Its not the loss of the forum that is frustrating its more the loss of the wealth of information that came with it

New builders will be after book amendments front frame guides etc

Hacked my skinny none existant arse am guessing that is more of a excuse

They would have been watching what we where saying about our ideas for the forum and just thought ungrateful git's lets give them something to winge about

Thank the almighty bonzo who swooped in and gave us a safe haven to rebuild our community

Althoughing it will take a while before we can stop asking questions and just do a search to find out what we need to know

Hey Kev, nice to see ya, pulleys were looking nice and pearly but never got a chance to comment, did the colour come out a little lighter than in the sample or was it camera angle?

yeah the camera angle did effect it a little as the colour is a real deep blue till light gets on it then its like a royal blue,
looking to do a better job on the rocker covers as they won't be spinning, but it might be a while before you see any progress,
unless Ronnie does not mind me being temp on here. :|
