Hi Guys,

I spent ages writing a post only for the forum to dissapear as soon as i pressed submit so i hope you dont mind me posting here instead.

I need a few parts to finish my car off, but as most of you aware i dont have two pennies to rub together. I do however have a few bits i have found that could be "swapped". I really cant be doing with the stress of selling things in my current state of mind, so my missus suggested that it might be fun for me to swap them instead.

I really need:

NOTHING NOW BUT COLD HARD CASH BABY

I have, which im open to swapping for said items:

One of Kevs ally tanks leftover SOLDSOLDSOLD Porkchop
Full set of sierra wishbones ( and enough polybushes, but no crush tubes). Rears are painted black, fronts bare clean steel. £80 cash plus postage or you sort courier
Sierra Push fit diff, not sure of ratio £50 plus postage or you sort courier
Sierra uprights x3 (l,r,r) brand new never been used, bit of surface rust on one, other two hammerited. £50 plus postage or you sort courier
Full set of sierra wishbone, upright jigs SOLDSOLD Bruce
Full set of mx5 wishbone/ adjuster jigs
£80 plus postage or you sort courier
Pair front uppers sierra £25 plus postage or you sort courier
pair front uppers mazda £25 plus postage or you sort courier
Brand new ryobi 110 drill, dad bought it by mistake thinking that houses run on 110 doh £60 plus postage or you sort courier
Six front lower wishbone lasercut plates (sierra) £15
Haynes single seater moulds, £300 you collect

I would prefer collection of the bits from mine. I cant deal with the stress of sending things by courier, but i can box them up if you organise courier to collect. If your a well known forum member, i dont mind you organising for the bits you want to be collected before you pay me.

I will add to the list if i find anything else

Cheers

Nathan

P.S ronnie a swaps section would be well cool :P

How much of the single seater project exists? Is there enough in the way of chassis and body stuff to pick up the pieces and finish the project?

The car was in an almost finished state when it was collected by haynes. I worked everyday over christmas to get it finished best i could with the parts we had. I got no recognition, not even eye contact from men from haynes. What i have is the bodywork moulds which i own ( have had 2 sets pulled from them) and a load of cad drawings with dimentions so that the car could be built from scratch.Dont know if haynes have any claim to the plans other than for commercial use, its a bit of a grey area i suppose. Dont know if and when the book will ever come out, so what i have left could be a nice private project for someone.
