As a result of a complete change of direct in my build I have a huge amount of stuff to get rid of so I thought that I would start the ball rolling with the bigger things:

I have two fully built chassis for sale (long story!)

Chassis 1 - was built by a father soon team (father was an engineer for Bentley, so was a stickler for doing things right) out of 1.6mm box section. To be honest I love this chassis, it is strong, straight and seems pretty light (lighter than chassis 2). It has all of the brackets and chassis plates welded in (all suspension mounts, steering mounts, seat belt mounts etc.). The only thing that is not on this chassis is the head light mounts. It has the tubular rear end as per the book. Was built for a type 9 box.

Chassis 2 - was apparently professionally welded, although as I didn't order it originally I cannot confirm this (it is completely straight). It is heavier than chassis 1, so I think it is 2mm box section. Again everything is completed on this chassis. It did have the headlight mounts but for some reason the previous owner decided to cut them off, I guess they had different ideas for this. I still have these cut off mounts, which could just be welded back on. The chassis has been painted in two PAC, although I think they were either slap dash or had sight problems as they have missed some bits. Has Ali floor riveted in and has the Saturn rear end and all the mounting points for a full roll cage (I.e. mounts at the front near the scuttle, standard behind seat mounts and two mounts right at the back where the GRP would attach). I think this will take a MT75.

So two different chassis for two different style of builds. If unsure then ask :)

I am looking for £250 per chassis. They are definitely too good to scrap. I am quite a safety nut and as far as I can see everything is in order with these chassis, such that I would trust them. Come and have a look, I don't think you would be disappointed.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I also have two complete sets of wish bones (front and back, upper and lower).

Set 1 - I bought from 3GE so were professionally made. Just need painted. Looking for £150

Set 2 - painted (much better than the chassis) and from the same source as Chassis 2. Look great. Complete with bushes. Looking for £200

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a set of rear uprights made by 3GE. Set up for drums. £50

I have all the bits to weld up a second set of uprights. £20

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a standard 3.9 sierra diff with push in shafts - no idea what this is worth, open to offers (will check locost Etc. For going rates).

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a LSD from one of the 4x4 sierras I believe. Cleaned and painted gold. Comes with bolt on drive shafts that were reconditioned by previous owner. Comes with rear calipers, hubs (new bearings). I paid £250 for this so that is what I would like to get back.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Type 9 gear box - looks in great condition. Never heard it running etc. but had a look inside and all looks good. I paid £120 so looking to recoup that.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That is everything for part one (probably about 25%) of what I have to sell. Will put more things up as soon as I can.

I have photos so if you want anything specifically let me know and I will send them on to you (not figured how to post them in the forum). More than happy for people to come and have a look if you want.

Prefer collection for most of this stuff as it is a bit big to post. Will post smaller things though.

Will accept cash or PayPal if you cover the fees.

I am pretty flexible on most things so please don't worry about making a reasonable offer, I don't bite. Somethings I am willing to be more flexible on than others.

Just an additional note, the chassis will go on roof bars, chassis 1 would be no problem what so ever. Chassis 2 is probably closer to roof load limits for most cars (4x4 will be fine with enough bars).

Cheers,

Jonathan

Lol, thanks Bruce

I hate listing things etc. so stuff has accumulated. My 4x4 is full of boxes of stuff for the kit car that I haven't even started sorting through yet!

Likelihood is I probably have it if people want to make requests!

Cheers,

Jonathan
