Hi Guys,

I am making a trip to the UK at the end of the month and would like to pickup a set of shocks and springs.

Hope to find a good deal and packing them home would save on shipping and VAT

I have seen a few articles about gaz shocks having leaking issues ??? I am open to suggestions.

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

Nigel

Hi Nigel,

I actually have a full set of protech shocks that I am selling. Brand new, never fitted but have been sat in my lock up for a couple of years. Had a look at them today and they look mint.

I originally bought these from a group buy on the Haynes forum:

http://www.haynes.co.uk/forums/showthre ... ght=shocks

When the group buy went on literally everyone bought the protechs (as you will be able to see). The reason that I went protech was that as they were Ali bodied people seem to reckon they stay looking nice for longer on the car. Other than that I cannot comment really and would advise doing a bit of digging on the Internet.

I live in Loughborough so am between 45 mins and 1:15 from the two extremes of Coventry.

Basically looking to get back what I paid for them (£340) and more than happy to meet anywhere if you want to have a look at them.

Cheers,

Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,

I am definitely interested, it was easy to see that Protech are more desirable than the Gaz reading through the group buy !!

Loughborough is not a problem I will be in Nuneaton too, maybe I could get to see your car

Do you have Skype ? I will call you if you can send me your used id.

Cheers
Nigel
