Anyone know of somewhere that sells graded worktops, preferably around the home counties area or somewhere that will deliver, I found one but its up in Burnley so a bit of a journey. I'm looking for around four 3m lengths for the man cave

I might be able to help with both of your requirements. The place that I got my MDF cover sheets from make routed shop fittings and kitchen carcasses I will ask the 'how much for cash/damaged' I also used to work in a unit next door to a work top company that I know quite well.

I cut my build table down the middle lengthwise when I'd finished with it ;)

It makes 2 decent work /storage surfaces ;)

Try your local Howdens, http://www.the-kitchen.co.uk/howdens/company/depots.htm.

I've had about 3 damaged worktops of them over the years,on;y paid a tenner for the last one i had.

I looked on ebay and found some worktops used but in good condition. Local so just went a picked them up. Cheapest solution.

I'd be more than happy with used ones, they're going to get scuffed up anyway, trouble is I need about 11m in all with one 6m straight run, I'm probably being a tart but I'd prefer they match with a minimum amount of joints

Do you know anyone who knows anyone who runs a skip firm? Some firms have waste transfer sites - people rip out kitchens all the time. That's where I get loads of stuff from - but then the chap who owns it is my father-in-law..!
