It was probably crap from the pump going tits up that got into the injectors or there was nothing wrong with the pump in the first place and you have been stiffed by them miss diagnosing it just needing injectors . Without the test gear you just have to accept what they say :x We have the same engine in a transit and i made the tool for holding the timing gear in about 5 minutes. Problem was the ecm in the pump and cos i changed it from another vehicle I was charged £100 by a spotty teenager with a lap top to come and spend 20 minutes to re program the poxy thing. Anyway the roadster is looking great after the shake down mods and will sound awesome with those headers and webers , nothing quite like the sound of a four pot on webers (does it for me)

Bit of kit work do e recently, I've removed the toll bar and taken it to the powder coaters ;) rad fan is now wired up and working, the new fuel level sender is fitted and working! I've started to remove the seats ready for the new harnesses I've also started to remove the tranny tunnel top ready to trim it and add the edge trim, then I just need to do the boot cover and she's ready to start going back together.
