welcome and a cracking start to your build, my sierra up-rights were that bad but I stripped them down, ready for new bearings and then left the bodies in an electrolisis bath for about 2 days each its amazing how well that works and then a quick rub with some scotch brite and a coat of paint they look like new

That's fair comment Phil The price side of things wasn't really my thinking it was more the gains or purpose to the offset I'd rather spend the extra cash on handling or getting the right bits than cheap stuff that will cost more in the long run at least your products are made with care and attention instead mass produced just for profit margins

The Ron Champion 'locost' used Cortina uprights so had no need for mushrooms.

A quick question for you lot I'm way up different engines for the car not that I'm an were near ready to get one yet but I do like my German cars and I no BMW is the proven route at the minute but has any one thought tried completed a car with one of the crazy merc cosworth engines your thoughts would be appreciated

Afternoon I've just stopped off at my local scrap yard they have some pristine ally 8x4 sheets 2.5 mm thick and some about 1.5 will this door for the floor the 1.5 sounds good for the paneling there is a lot if this is any good and I can get a good price I don't mind picking extra up for anyone as I'm up and down from derby to London every night I don't mind meeting up to pass it on
