Now got gaskets and big end bearing shells in post so can get going soon.Arf possesses some important tools (bore honing tool , ring clamp(ouch) and valve compressor) but he is at Autosport show doing something technical and clever.
Need to downsize our house (large garage is top of my priorities) so a lot of work to be done decluttering , decorating and fixing bits that some wally surveyor will point out as a serious defect in order to avoid being sued later on.For that reason I am registering my Haynes now to get that out of the way . Just completing the forms now. Insurance cost £150 .I did it fully comp with parts only accident cover so if i had a shunt I get the bits paid for and can repair it myself.
