well here we are engine and box are in with engine mounts made up :D :D thanks to my mate from work looked and looked then picked up the engine and box and with a few grunts they were in ! ( born in Yorkshire so yes strong int back thick int head ... moment)
messed about forever overthinking the mounts when suddenly K.I.S.S. and they were done. I used the original mounts , some box profiled to the same angle as the mounts and some 5mm plate to spread the load bolted down onto the mount plates on top of rails. "sorted" ignore the block o wood in pic its on proper mounts now

yep it sure did not a lot of room around the box guess that's down to it being the later version although there is a lot more room around the engine than I was expecting, drivers side is cluttered tho as it seems everything and the kitchen sink is on that side :) hey ho on we go.. want to get the propshaft done and, caused me some head scratching but there is not a return fuel line on the later models mk2 / 2.5 , it aint there and I'm not even going to try and work out the reasons !! any way lines in this week as well and i'll keep working away, hope to get my bodywork soon so I can check fit (looking forward to that :) ...)

well so much for getting on this weekend woke up this morning to police knocking on door, some t##t ran into the Volvo last night ripping half the wheel off the n/s front, bonus was she was being followed by an off duty officer who witnessed it at 3am.
so spent today dealing with police and insurance and waiting for them to get their collective acts together :(
hopefully get this mess sorted and normality will return ? what is normal? I'm probably the worst person to ask this week :)
sorry for the rant just needed to let off some steam
