Looks to be taking shape nicely, are you using the MX5 engine?

thanks , yes I'm using the mx5 as a donor , and the Saturn plans off Gillams' site but have found as with the book to check and recheck as there are some sizes missing regards the wishbones ( found some detail drawings on the Haynes forum in "stots'" build diary.
Also the great debate on how to mount the diff, he has a nicely made nose bracket and alloy bushes in the arms, on the reasoning that the sierra version is solid mounted with no problems. Also he has a nice take on mounting the rollbar.
A wee bit off yet though.
been out this morning and done a wee bit waiting for a bag of bolts and I'll get her onto 4 feet!!!
little steps but feels like progress !!

I believe that the guide on Gillam's site used to be missing some info, I have a copy of the original SSC plans I can email over if you want?

hi Thanks I think between the book and what I downloaded from gillhams I am pretty much on course ( he hopes) I also got a link on how to "adjust" the mx5 seats as I didn't fancy seat shells, must be getting old..... I can add it if anyone wants.

hoping to get her on the back wheels this week, anyone know who can make up alloy diff arm bushes?

No worries, give me a shout if you want it, its no trouble.

There was a guy who advertised on here a while back for turning bits, not heard any feedback but could be worth an enquiry:

well here she is sat on 4 wheels (and a trolley jack cos no shocks on yet) had a few problems with the rear wishbones first mock up gave me @ 15 deg camber oops !!!! so re jigged and 2nd mock up a whole lot better 0 deg camber with rose joints fully in :) welded up.
popped the diff, drive shafts and built up the back end also gave her a covering of paint to keep the dreaded rust away.
anyway it sure feels good to see some progress :)
