Have been thinking about my roll bar and been getting some quotes for main hoop back stays and harness bar and I would like to know if anyone else wants to order one

Still waiting on final prices but it looks like coming in at about £65 each plus posting

Will be looking to order shortly after the new year so everyone has time to think

I can see no reason as to why not, if folk think it would be a useful addition I would be happy to include it. :)

I want to be able to supply roll bars and produce rollcages to suit the roadster, how ever I need £260 worth of 48-50mm die to finish my rotary draw bender. If you can get 5 people to get a group buy together I can do the main hoop, cross bar with 7/16unf inserts included or even a full production cage. Cost would depend on your choice of CDS or ERW tube and what design you want, this way you get what you need and I get the machine I want so who's interested?

What rad bend would that be in 50mm Phil? I might stump up that bit of dosh ,then you could knock out some roll cages for me like the one on eternals build.

due to the diameter of the tube it would be 5.5-6" and that is measured around the middle of the bend line. If you want a tighter bend it needs to be done on a mandrel bender to stop the tube deforming or getting that crushed in look.

I think you are talking about this one Dave, there are a few ways round the belt anchor bolt problem
1:weld tags some where towards the back of RS3,4,11,12 and just lay the belts over the cross brace
2:weld gussets to the back of the cross brace to pick up the bosses and do some thing imagminative with trim for IVA
3:fit 3 point inertia belts that you find in production cars

I like this design as found on Caterham's but you might need a CNC machine or at least one with a DRO to get one side to match the other.

and before any body asks the answer is £1500!
