Hi,

I'm struggling to find measurements for the brackets for the damper brackets. I made a 90 degree bender (picture - crude but very effective) to use with the press, but I think the sizes are probably fairly precise in this area. Did I miss something in the book?

Cheers, Geedle.

Hi I'm in the USA at the moment but am fairly sure the damper and wishbone bracket measurements are in the book from memory at the back after the chassis tube measurements ( I cheated and bought a set)

It's right there - at the back of the book, just as you said! I swear I looked everywhere for that!

Thanks!

What it doesn't say is the thickness of the plate to use. I am assuming 3mm?

Thanks, Gareth.

Yes, they are 3mm, I'm going to be honest, I ordered mine from Owen Engineering along with the fully constructed rear suspension top mounts.

I may yet do that, but I'm going to have a bash at them first. I built a bearing press recently which I should be able to use to make nice 90 degree bends and I want an excuse to use it. See how we get on!

3mm - thanks.
