No intention of doing that Phil :)

Most folk who are picking up a welding set for the first time are happy to have help & advice from those in the trade.

Keep the advice coming, it is most welcome. :D :D

A welding" how to" would slot in nicely in the DIY bit where wyand did that shit hot shocker post. Go on phil you are at the sharp end of this and it would be a good for pr. It cant get buried there which is a good thing.Comments go in the chit chat which leaves the thread clean :D

If I'm going to be doing a lot of posting about welding and fabrication then I want one of those dictation programs for the laptop, then I can talk to some thing that might listen to me unlike the dogs and kids etc. It might also save my aching arthritic wrists after working on the lathe all morning.

I think I must talk in a foreign language to my kids, they seem to always fail to hear/understand what I'm saying :lol:
