 Post subject: u1 and u2

:) hello chaps,has anyone got a photo of u1 and u2 and how they sit in the chassis.ive been tacking for a few hours and dont want to mess up now.all advise gratefully accepted :) .

Hi Andy,

U1 & 2 basically sit under TR1 & TR2, as long as you get 361mm between the bottom edges of U1 & 2 as they sit on BR7 you,ll be ok,
it is a strange junction of U1/TR1 & D1 ,
the critical point is the 361mm between the lower edges.

i,ll have a look thru all my build photos to see if it,ll explain it easier & if i have one i,ll post a photo.

hey Gundog......

i can build a car but can i work out how to set the date on my camera???? can i hell like :oops: :oops:

its just that each time i change batteries the date needs resetting & i forget. ;) :shock:

do the pics help enough?

yes the intersection of those bits does take a few minutes of head scratching to work out.

hey the date on the pics means that i built my car when i was only 7 yrs old :lol: :lol: gifted kid eh. :D :D

hope to install fuel & brake lines in my chassis next week. should be fun :shock: :shock:

started to take the engine OUT of my car today, also sorted the length of my shocks( spring adjuster) as wasn,t happy with the steering extension level/angle. all sorted now, it was caused by the weight of the engine :shock: :shock:
