im sure there was someone on the hf that put one in think he might be on here
also i would have thought the original injection could be kept didnt they run a bosch k system? thats a very simple injection system its all done in the metering unit.

Thanks for your replies....Yep the 2.8 inj was an ace car, always wanted one!

Not totally sure about the injection system, but suspect it will be quite basic.

I suppose apart from the twin exhausts, it shouldn't be too difficult.

I had planned to put a cvh engine in to pass SVA then put a Zetec in. Doesn't seem to be too many CVH's about, so the 2.8 may be a good solution

Plus it'll sound amazin :D

I fitted the 2.8 MFI Cologne V6 engine from a Sierra, the gearbox is from a Capri 280. It fits, but you will need some clever thinking to make the alternator and airbox fit. I am still working on this bit but have very little time at the moment to work on it. Have a look at my pics, and any Q I will try to answer

Hi
Thanks for that. I've had a look at your pics, and it looks good. Sure it's all 'do-able'. If I do buy the engine I'll give you a shout back :D

Ronnie has seen it in the flesh, so that proves it can be done! I had to cut out the cross member within the engine bay, but sure I can weld in a new one once I work out where it all goes.

Nearly purchased my dampers this weeks, that was until Laura took me shopping in the store she manages, (Harvey Nichols) so I now have a lovely Ralph laun jumper, and polo.

I also made the mistake too say, do you want anything!!!! she daid no, but you are taking my friends and I out to Yo sush. So all in all, 400 squid gone
