Going to custom build a radiator for my car from bare core. The question is which is better? To have the water cores running vertically or horizontally for best cooling :?:
FWIW, my radiator dimensions are: height = 550mm and width = 370mm. Will possibly use a 60mm odd thick three core block.

We had cooling issues with a mid engined car we built and had a rad made. At the recommendation of the rad guy we had a horizontal core with both tappings the same end. The tank on the other end had a baffle in it half way down, this in effect forced water down all of the cores rather than letting water just go down whatever cores took the easiest path. The rad was the same size as the one that came off but it was far more effective.
