Oh fook! £565.55 going on the credit card

But it looks like I have a gearbox  :D :D

Not had much time for anything roadster wise, 360 plug plants came yesterday from Jersey Plants, so been busy planting up 21 pots/troughs/planters over the weekend, just got 18 baskets to go when the trailing plants arrive.

Noooo  But then on reflection I cant complain really, from the proceeds of breaking the 730 I bought last year I ended up with a V8, decent TIG & Mig plus quite a few other bits and all costs covered :D Plus I was lucky on the runnning gear and had a good deal on that too.

Those BMW manual V8 boxes are a little on the rare side and do fetch good money.

Go for it Lawrence

No Bob, going to need to source flywheel, clutch, slave cylinder and shift linkages but at least with the box I can start to figure out how to fit it in.

Spent a good couple of hours levelling up the table, can now slide a straight all around it at different angles and all reading spot on and flat :D :D :D was interesting to see how true the mule was and reinforced my decision to steer away from a timber framed table, the offside has a slight upwards bow in it and the nearside has a similar bow but more significant.

Got the box mated up to the engine and got it sat in the mule, still got a bit of chopping about to do to get it to sit nicely but ran out of time.
