I still want to build a Locost and I still want to pick up the "Mule" from Bruce...

I just took a little detour along the way. Okay,... A pretty BIG detour...
Go to the last page and you'll see the mess I've gotten myself into...

Remember

£2.00 sterling = one wife pound or w£
eg car part cost £300 = "darling it was only £150 it was a bargain"

My son Chase is home for the summer and he will be my motivation to work on cars.

After I picked up the Ginetta I just put it into a storage unit and hadn't been back. I think the sad state of the fiberglass body had me a bit overwhelmed.

So last weekend we went and took the body and roll cage off and brought the chassis back over to the house to start figuring things out. I don't have a garage or carport, so we are going to try and make do with what we have for now.

I'm not smart enough to figure out how to rotate the photo the right way,

I did it for you :)
but we did take the required photo.

I will definitely do that! Thanks!

Chase is home from college for the summer and is pretty handy, so he may be working on the Ginetta while I'm at work each day. :D

Thanks for flipping the photo Bruce! You'll have to teach me how you did that. LOL

I started a new build thread for the Ginetta.

Rather than re-typing the same thing several times I copy/pasted the story here and on Locost UK and Locost USA forms. I'll keep you up to date on things and let you know how I'm going to figure out a trip to pick up "The Mule".

I would love to take you up on that! This darned Army job isn't very flexible though... Maybe I can send Chase! He's basically a Mini Me anyway... LOL
